Jim Nabholz earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science, summa cum laude, from St. Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. Jim later also earned his Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, from St. Louis, University. Jim is a member of the Missouri, Illinois and Texas Bars. His primary areas of practice include family law, personal injury law, and real estate law.
Jim’s early legal career included a stint at a top 200 law firm, and then serving as managing attorney of a regional legal office for a prominent property/casualty insurance group. In 2000, Jim moved to Texas and accepted a senior executive legal position with USAA in San Antonio, Texas. After almost a decade at USAA, Jim transitioned into private practice in the Travis County, TX area as a sole practitioner. Jim also holds a real estate sales agent license in Texas.
Concurrently with his legal career in the civilian world, Jim also was a member of the United States Army Reserve, as a Judge Advocate General officer. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2004. While in the military, Jim earned a Master’s Degree in Military and Leadership Sciences. Assigned to a combat engineer brigade, Jim was honored to serve his country in deployments to Iraq, Panama, Honduras, Guatemala and Afghanistan.
