Kyle E. Smith received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas in 1995. He received his Master’s Degree in History from Sam Houston State University in 2012. He then received his Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) from Capella University in 2019.
Kyle has served as Staff Attorney and a Prosecuting Attorney for five different state agencies, including the Texas Real Estate Commission, the Texas Medical Board, and the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Kyle also served as an Assistant General Counsel at the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and Interim Executive Director at the Texas Funeral Services Commission. He has 20 years’ experience in Administrative Law, alternative dispute resolution and mediation with state regulatory agencies. He has provided hours of continuing education to licensees. Kyle has a passion for helping worthy clients navigate the licensing matrix of various regulatory agencies.
His years of experience of negotiating settlements and structuring agreements for license applicants gives him the skills necessary to help clients who may have a background prove their trustworthiness to hold an occupational license in the state of Texas.
